2025-03-04 19:16:02 +0100 <PlsHelp> The course material tells you to use "stack build", but I ran "ghcup run --ghc 9.6.6 -i cabal --build" instead and it seems to working just fine? Being a complete noob, I have no idea what's the difference between stack and cabal, but as long as it works, it's good enough for me

2025-03-04 18:44:08 +0100 <PlsHelp> Thanks! I think this is the issue. If I run "stack path --programs" it reveals that the path is in appdata/local, I bet that changing this will fix the issue

2025-03-04 18:36:14 +0100 <haskellbridge> <Morj> But also your problem may be unrelated. Try restarting the build several times until the output is small enough. Stack likes writing messages from unrelated builds upon errors

2025-03-04 18:35:01 +0100 <haskellbridge> <Morj> I had a whole separate partition for stack at 'S:\', and we would still have problems when our libraries had too long a name

2025-03-04 18:33:24 +0100 <haskellbridge> <Morj> Way back when I was using windows, stack had problems that its paths to stack-cache would overflow windows's path length limit

2025-03-04 18:15:48 +0100 <PlsHelp> Hello! Hopefully this is not wrong place to ask this, but I'm trying to start a Haskell course and I'm getting stuck at running "stack build" in the course's folder, I get a bizarre "file not found" error, here's the whole thing: https://pastebin.com/QDQc2dbs
