That's presumably why it currently exports a function: it's a way of providing values for those fields without having the calling code supply them.

So for MouseResizableTile, for example, exporting `MRTMessage (ShrinkSlave, ExpandSlave)` exports those two constructors but not the three others (`SetMasterFraction`, `SetLeftSlaveFraction`, `SetRightSlaveFraction`) that I imagine are reserved for internal use only.

But I don't know if you can have either of them work with a Tall-style layout. They work well with XMonad.Layout.BinarySpacePartition though.
