2021-08-24 05:22:04 +0000 <Solid> elonsroadster[m]: not the functions itself, I meant more the module as a whole
2021-08-24 05:22:21 +0000 <Solid> it contains a tiny example of how to use spacingRaw in some unknown configuration and that's about it
2021-08-24 05:25:15 +0000 <elonsroadster[m]> Solid just not sure I understand why you keep trying the undeprecation to documentation
2021-08-24 05:25:20 +0000 <elonsroadster[m]> Seems like separate concerns to me
2021-08-24 05:27:34 +0000 <Solid> I think you misunderstood me; I was saying that more documentation may help users to actually understand what spacingRaw is supposed to be and not trip up on it
2021-08-24 05:27:48 +0000 <Solid> this is orthogonal to undeprecating these functions yes
2021-08-24 05:28:04 +0000 <Solid> (but it still serves the same end goal of a more understandable module for users)

2021-08-24 07:42:40 +0000 <dminuoso> geekosaur: Thanks again. My issue was that in weechat with `/mouse enable`, the middle mouse buttom would keep pasting. I now realized that the raw mode that xfce4-terminal provides seems to be "broken", because it wont pass the middle mouse click through to the raw terminal application.
2021-08-24 07:42:54 +0000 <dminuoso> Switching to a different terminulator helped.
2021-08-24 07:43:20 +0000 <dminuoso> The more I deal with terminal emulators, the more disgusted I am, by the sheer inconsistency between all of them
2021-08-24 07:43:54 +0000 <dminuoso> Why cant I have a snappy lightweight terminal emulator with terminfo entries on standard linux installations, with support for ligatures?
2021-08-24 07:44:26 +0000 <dminuoso> Terminal emulators seem to have a choice: ["lightweight", "ligature support", "portable"] - pick two of them.
