2022-06-27 04:38:26 +0200 <[Leary]> @tell diep I imagine modifier/s are changing your layout description to something other than "Full". You can spawn a notification or just use the logging (with a keybinding along the lines of `gets (description . W.layout . W.workspace . W.current . windowset) >>= trace`) to see what the description actually is, or you can override it with X.L.Renamed.

2022-06-27 07:02:03 +0200 <zachir> Can someone help me get window swallowing working? Using xmonad 0.17 and xmonad-contrib 0.17, artix linux. The line I have in my xmonad.hs is `handleEventHook = swallowEventHook (className =? "St" <||> className =? "Alacritty") (return True) <+> handleEventHook def`. I am using st as my main terminal, with alacritty as a backup. Right now, if I open mpv, it will open the window, but will not swallow.

2022-06-27 07:20:22 +0200 <[Leary]> @tell zachir I would first check with xprop that the class names match exactly what you've written. If they do, then I'll point you to the notes at the top of the module.

2022-06-27 19:58:32 +0200 <geekosaur> looked like it was all resolved to me, but I didn't go pointwise through the whole thing, just checked everything had <outdated> on it (which doesn't guarantee much given force-pushes)
